JoAnne Contrisciane, age 76, a resident of Thornton, Pa, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. JoAnne was a graduate of Holy Child High School and worked as a teacher, waitress, and volunteer, but identified most as a loving mother and wife. JoAnne cherished time with her family, especially summers at the Jersey Shore, often with a Rolling Rock in one hand and a Parliament in the other. She loved tending her garden, watching the birds gather at her backyard feeder, and hunting for treasures at local garage sales. Rooted in a strong Catholic faith, she carried her convictions into the way she lived, the way she loved and the way she raised her four children, drawing strength and comfort from her faith throughout her life.

JoAnne has been reunited with her beloved husband of 46 years, Ron Contrisciane. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Nancy (Curtin) Collins. Survivors: Cara Dixon - daughter, Kenneth Contrisciane - son, Colleen Fullwood - daughter, Brian Contrisciane - son, Gwendolyn Locke - granddaughter, Keegan Locke - grandson, Aemon Lewis - grandson, Arwyn Lewis - granddaughter, Kellen Contrisciane - grandson, Thomas Contrisciane - grandson, Antonio Contrisciane - grandson.

Visitation: Saturday, February 14, 2026 9:00-10:15 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. Funeral Mass: Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial: St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
