John S. Hart, age 74, a resident of Drexel Hill, passed away on September 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

John was born and raised in West Philadelphia and was a 1963 graduate of St. Thomas More High School. He was a retired meat cutter for ACME Markets. He was a longtime football coach at the Parkside Boy's Club, in Parkside, PA, and he was also the girl's track coach for St. Robert's C.Y.O., in Chester, PA. John was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Black Jack Kehoe, Division 4 out of Delaware County, PA and a member of the Sons of the American Legion for Darby Township.

He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Lawless) Hart and brother to the late Delores DePrince, Thomas Hart, and Frank Quinn.

Survivors: Wife: Diane (Botts) Hart; Children: John Hart (Dianna), Michele Turley (Bob), Joe Hart (Michelle), Denise Schwartz (Stephen); and Brother: Bill Hart. Grandchildren: Mandi, Francis, Johnny, Amy, Kayla, Katelyn, Stephen, and Erica. Great-Grandson: Eoin.

Visitation: Monday, September 16, 2019 from 9:30-10:45 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA. Words of Remembrance: Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Inurnment: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the Providence Animal Center at www.providenceac.org.
