John Paul "Jack" Kowal Jr., age 69 , died July 18, 2022 at his home in Aston.  Jack was born in Chester and raised in the West End.  He was a 1970 graduate of St. James High School and a member of St. Hedwigs Church.  Jack has lived in Aston for more than 42 years where he was a member of St. Joseph's Church. He worked for the Sun Oil Company as an operator for 31 years retiring in 2011.  He enjoyed weekly golf with his buddies, completing crossword puzzles, gardening, watching sports, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jack was a proud Navy Veteran who served the United States during the Vietnam War.  He was also a member of American Legion Post 926, Aston.

Jack was the son of the late John & Frances Dziubczynski Kowal and brother in law of the late Max McKaig.

SURVIVORS: His wife of 44 years Sandra Harper Kowal, his daughter Amy Kowal and his son Jack Kowal III (Keriann). H is siblings: Terry McKaig, Judy Eachus (Bob), and Matt Kowal (Melinee), His grandchildren : Clay, Reese, and Conor Kowal, and many Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

VISITATION : Monday July 25, 2022 from 10-11:15am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday July 25, 2022 at 11:30am at the funeral home.
