John (Jack) H. McGonigle, age 80, died on August 29, 2017, at his home in Albrightsville, PA. He was raised and educated, and lived in Philadelphia for more than 40 years. He graduated from Southeast Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman. Jack had a 45 year career in the commercial insulation business holding many positions throughout and was an honorary member of Local #14 Insulators. Jack had a love for music. He was cantor at St. Stephen's Parish in Pennsauken, NJ, enjoyed Broadway musicals, classical music, and performed in the Louis Shearer Chorale. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Gilbert, PA and received the Bishop's Medal from the Camden Diocese.

He was the son of the late John and Louise (Bellwoar) McGonigle and brother of the late Lizanne Gillen.

SURVIVORS: His beloved wife Lorraine DeChec Henderson. Children: Jack McGonigle (Margaret), Dennis McGonigle (Rachel), Patrice Martini (Dave), Beth Anne McGonigle, Sherri Ann Prendergast (Mark), and Stephanie Spence (Michael), 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and his siblings George McGonigle, Margaret Mary Friel, Louise Pellegrino, and Edward McGonigle.

Visitation Saturday from 8:15-9:45 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass: Saturday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Charity Church, Upland Road, Brookhaven. Burial: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church P.O. Box 38, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 or Local #14 Mesothelioma Fund at Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
