John Munro, age 87, died peacefully November 8, 2017 at Naamans Creek Country Manor. Born in Chester, John has been a long time resident of Bethel Twp. He retired in 1993 from General Electric after 43 years of service as a wireman assembler. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. Especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Marion Coates Munro, as well as his son-in-law, William "Bill" Deery.

SURVIVORS: His beloved wife of 66 years Alice (nee Ely) Munro, children Sally Basner, John Munro (Gail), and Diane "Dee" Deery. Brother of Marion Fulmer, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation Saturday from 9:30-10:15 AM at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.

Funeral Service Saturday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Burial is Private.
