John D. Newborg October 12, 1942 - January 21, 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of John D. Newborg, a loving husband, father, and cherished member of his community. John's journey began in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he was born to his proud parents Paul and Magdalene Newborg. He made a lasting impact on the lives around him through his kind and compassionate nature. John dedicated his life to his craft as an engineer, working diligently for an impressive 47 years at Boeing Company. His unwavering commitment and expertise earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and supervisors alike. His contribution to the aerospace industry will forever be remembered. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a man of many passions. He had a deep affection for animals, particularly his four-legged friends, whom he showed love and kindness to throughout his life. John's musical talents as a drummer in the Bill Jay Four Band brought joy to many, and his vibrant rhythms added an extra heartbeat to countless songs. In his personal life, John found true happiness in his marriage to his beloved wife, Peggy Newborg. Their enduring love served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they shared 62 beautiful years, filled with laughter, companionship, and unwavering support. John's legacy lives on through his daughter, Rachel Newborg, and son, John David Newborg Jr. . He was a devoted father, always providing a guiding light and instilling values of love, integrity, and generosity in his children's lives. John is also survived by his sister Sandra Sank and brother Steve Newborg. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy, honoring the principles of duty, honor, and courage. His patriotic spirit will forever be applauded and cherished by those he leaves behind. John will be remembered fondly for his compassionate heart, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He remains forever present in our hearts and memories. His absence leaves a void that can only be filled by cherishing the moments and lessons he shared with us. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the enduring legacy John has left behind. John was predeceased by his brother Paul and sister Joy.
