Obituary

John Pisano, a longtime resident of Aston, age 66, passed away on September 29, 2015. John was raised and educated in Chester and Parkside. He graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1968 and attended the PA Deputy Sheriff's Academy in Carlisle, PA. John proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.

John was the owner of Pisano's Sandwich Shop for 20 years, was a real estate agent, and finally retired from the Delaware County Sheriff's Department after 20 years of service as a Deputy Sheriff. He was past president, vice president and chairman of the Trustees with the Parkside Fire Co. John was a member of Concord Lodge No. 625 F. & A.M. and a member of American Legion Post #926, Aston.

John enjoyed his time at Dewey Beach on the boat with his buddy George. He also cherished his time hunting and fishing at the mountain cabin with his friends: Dave, John, John Jr., Jimmy, and Carver.

He was the son of the late Gennaro and Mary (Tedesco) Pisano.

SURVIVORS: His wife of 42 years: Lynne (Furman) Pisano; his daughter: Ann Pisano Clothier (Sean); 2 siblings: Guy Pisano (Janet) and Marianne Jackson (David); also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Sunday from 7-9pm and Monday from 10-11am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Monday at 11:00 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
