Obituary

John R. Waldron, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2019 at his home. John was raised in Upland, PA and was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1953. He was also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Military College, class of 1962. During peacetime, John served proudly in the United States Army while stationed in Virginia. John was retired from the Westinghouse company where he was employed as a mechanical engineer. Some of his many pastimes include; Genealogy research, spending time with family, and taking trips to Ireland, County Mayo. John was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Aston, PA, where he served as an usher. John will always be remembered for his kindness and the unconditional love he had for his family. His family meant the world to him, and his love and generosity will never be forgotten.

He was the son of Dominic Waldron III and Ann Marie Sullivan, and he was the husband of the late Barbara Styer. John was also the brother of the late Dominic, Joseph, and Andrew Waldron, Anna Masten, Rose Boyle, and Winnafred Prendergast.

SURVIVORS: Brother: James Waldron.

Visitation: Saturday from 10-10:45am at St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston Funeral Service: Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church. Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Foundation at www.woundedwarriorproject.org
