Joseph N. DeSantis is now resting in peace with the Lord. A longtime resident of Upland, PA, Joseph, age 89, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Broomall, PA. Joseph was raised and educated in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1955. He studied engineering at the Pennsylvania Military Academy. Later, Joseph would enlist in the Army National Guard, serving his nation proudly until 1963. He was retired from the PA State Liquor Control Board where he was employed for 29 years. Joseph was a member of the Columbus Center in Chester, PA, and was a past parishioner of Our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven, PA, and the former St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chester, PA, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. 

He was the son of the late Gabriel and Stella (nee Bruni) DeSantis and brother of the late Gabriel DeSantis, Frank DeSantis, Sam DeSantis, Marie DiSalvatore and Anna Higler. 

He is survived by 7 nieces and nephews; Gabrielle and Jerry, David and Carol, Ann, and Donna and Frank.
