Joseph Drexler "Joe", age 74, passed away on August 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Garnet Valley, PA. Joe was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. After high school, he pursued his passion for healthcare, earning an associate degree from the Franklin School of Science and Art to become a Medical Technician. Joe dedicated many years of his career to Crozer Chester Medical Center and Sacred Heart Hospital, where he made a lasting impact through his work. He spent 15 years living in Chester, PA, before moving to Aston, PA, where he raised his family. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed fishing and was always busy fixing things around the house, whether for himself or helping his daughters with their homes. Family was at the heart of everything he did, and he cherished the time spent with his loved ones, especially playing wiffle ball with his grandchildren. His commitment to his community was evident through his 20-year tenure as president of the Wilmington Club for the Deaf. He is the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Reger) Drexler. Survivors: his loving wife of 49 years: Susan (O'Shea) Drexler, his two daughters: Susan Wagner and Marianne Stolzer (Chris), his grandchildren: Jason, Casey, Hailey, Jordyn, CJ, Sean, and Mason, as well as his three great grandchildren: Ariella, AJ, and Amari. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
