Joseph Frank Osowski, Jr., age 65 , died peacefully July 15, 2015 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park. Joseph was a longtime resident of Eddystone and a 1967 graduate of Ridley High School. Most recently Joe resided in Garnet Valley.
He was employed by Boeing Helicopters as an inspector in the transmission shop for more than 30 years before retiring in 2014. He previously worked for Westinghouse. Joe was a US Army Airborne Veteran serving his country in the Vietnam War. Joe loved spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed time in Ocean City, MD crabbing and fishing. He loved listening to the Beatles and spending time with his 2 Boxer dogs; Snickers and Nugget.
He was the son of the late Joseph Frank and Betty Mae (Shaw) Osowski Sr. and brother of the late Beth Ann Osowski Greenleaf.
SURVIVORS: His loving wife Dorothy(Rogers) Osowski, brother David Osowski (Donna), Sister Victoria DiMaio (Victor), son Joseph B. Osowski (Stephanie), daughters Jennifer Blake (Tom), Stephanie Osowski, Lauren Nines (Randy), Joanne Avella (Matt) and 11 grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his brother in law Steven Greenleaf and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Tuesday from 9-10:45am at Full Gospel Assembly Church, 301 Edwards Drive, Brookhaven, PA.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday at 11:00 am at the church
BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
