Joseph J. Santore passed away peacefully at his home on October 26, 2021, at the age of 79, with his family by his side. Joe was born in December of 1941 and was raised in Philadelphia, PA. He served his country proudly in the United States Army in the 140th Military Police Company during the Vietnam War. Joe continued serving his community as a Police Officer for the city of Philadelphia. Later, he completed his education and became a certified Medical Technologist, performing laboratory tests for hospitalized patients. In his free time, Joe enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Philadelphia Eagles, and he enjoyed reading, especially science magazines.

Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Sweeney) Santore, father of the late Jennifer D. Santore, and brother of the late Francis J. Santore and Barbara Cole.

Survivors: Children: Amanda (Brian) Schneider, Marc (Leann) Santore, Diana Santore, and Rebecca (Dave) Dubuque. Sister: Diana Santore Clancy. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
