Joseph S. Uzdavinis, age 78, passed away peacefully September 16, 2021, at Springfield Commons and Rehabilitation surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Philadelphia and raised in Lester, Joe was a 1960 graduate of Ridley High School. Joe also lived in Prospect Park, has lived in Boothwyn since 1975.   Joe worked at the Scott Paper Company for 26 years, while working and raising a family he attended night school at Drexel University. In 1975 Joe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Joe also worked for the Boeing Company on the V-22 Osprey for 16 years before retiring. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling.  He was a member of the Upper Chichester Seniors, and he volunteered for the Upper Chichester Emergency response team. Joe was an avid and passionate runner. Having run in over 100 races. He traveled to Clearwater, FL to watch the Phillies in spring training and Sunday's watching Eagles Football.  He enjoyed his summer home at Dennisville Lake Resort in New Jersey and was longtime member of St. Joseph's Church in Aston. Joe loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He attended their sporting events and never missed their life achievements.  He will be missed by all, but never forgotten.

Joe was the son of the late Joseph J. and Anna Uzdavinis, brother of the late Dolly Blanda and Jean Pryzchodzki.

SURVIVORS: His loving wife of 55 years Jan Buckley Uzdavinis, his children Joseph M. Uzdavinis and Melanie A. Clements., his grandsons Gary and Liam Clements and his sister Ann Geider.

VISITATION: Wednesday September 22, 2021, from 10-10:45am at St. Joseph's Church 3255 Concord Road, Aston.

FUNERAL MASS: Wednesday September 22, 2021, at 11:00am at the church.

BURIAL: Private at the convenience of the family.
