Josephine (LaSpada) Caccia, age 98, died May 15, 2015 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Josephine previously resided in Chester, PA before moving to St. Petersburg 37 years ago. She was born in New Jersey to the late Anthony & Carmella (LaSpina) LaSpada and was raised in Chester, PA. Later Anthony remarried Jewiene Zaffiri, who had 5 children. Josephine was an owner/partner of LaSpada's Original Deli in Parkside and upon moving to Florida worked for her daughter, Joann at her Colonial Corner Deli until the age of 92. She was also a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Josephine was known and loved by all whom she met as a generous, caring and pleasant woman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Ernest Caccia; a son, Joseph Caccia; a son in law, Vincent Casciato; a grandson, Joey Casciato and siblings, Sarah Russo & Joseph, John, Steve and Charlie LaSpada.
SURVIVORS: Daughter: Joann Casciato; Sister: Mary Russo; Daughter in law: Patricia Caccia; Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews family and friends.
VISITATION: Saturday from 9-11:00am at Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA.
FUNERAL LITURGY: Saturday at 11:00 am at Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., Aston
BURIAL: Immaculate Heart Of Mary Cemetery, Linwood.
