Josephine Coale "Reds or Jo", age 76, a longtime resident of Lower Chichester, PA, passed away on May 22, 2024, at her home. Josephine was born and raised in Chester, PA, before moving to Eddystone, PA where she would stay until moving to Lower Chichester, PA. In recent years, Josephine has lived with her daughter, Donna, in Delaware. She was a loving and dedicated mother, working many jobs from a young age to help support and raise her family. Over the years she worked at the West End Boat Club, Scott Paper, Denny's, and finally Alloy before retiring. In her free time, Josephine enjoyed dancing, going to the casino, and sipping on margaritas. She was very charitable and generous with her time, she was involved with Christ United Methodist Church in Broomall, PA, helping with their annual strawberry festivals, pancake breakfasts, and outreach programs, particularly to aid the homeless and disadvantaged. She is the daughter of the late Samuel Perry and Elizabeth Holdren, wife of the late Jesse "Froggy" Coale (2016), and sister of the late Linda Holdren and Martha Ann Jones Klenotiz. She is also preceded in death by her beloved cat, Tiger. Suvivors: Children: Michael Perry, Donald Gamble (Cathy), and Donna Heitmann (Chris). Step-Children: Rev. Jesse A. Coale (Judy) and Joseph Coale (Cheryl). Grandchildren: Chelsea Richards (Carl), Matthew Heitmann, and Madison Gamble. Step-Grandchildren: Sarah Henninger, Amanda Cochran, and Matthew Coale. Sister: Daisy Humbertson (Ralph). She is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Visitation: Wednesday, May 29, 2024, 10:00am-11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Serivce: Wednesday, May 29, 2024, 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Entombment: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
