Josephine R. Meehan, age 88, a longtime resident of Aston, passed away on May 13th, 2021. Josephine was born and educated in Chester, graduating from Notre Dame Girls Catholic High School in Moylan. She worked for Rose Tree School District in Media, PA, until her retirement in 1998. Josephine was a lifetime member of St. Francis De Sales Parish in Lenni, PA. She was also a member of St Katharine Drexel Seniors Club and Parkside Seniors Club where she enjoyed playing bingo with her fellow club members. One of her greatest pleasures was her yearly family vacations down to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. She also loved taking trips with her husband to Lancaster. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and sister and it was a tremendous joy to her when she was surrounded by her family.

Josephine was the daughter of the late William V. and Mary F. (Iacono) Sacco and sister to the late William Sacco and Anthony Sacco.

Survivors: Husband: Robert J. Meehan; Children: Diane M. Murphy; Robert W. Meehan; and Carol M. Christie; Sister: Marian Melchiorre; 5 Grand Children: Lisa, Cyndi, Kelly, Bobby, and Jimmy; 5 Great Grand Children: Nina, Brian, Haley, Max, and Addy; 2 Great Great Grand Children: Julie and Aubree.

Visitation: Wednesday May 19th, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014.
