Josephine "Josie" O'Donnell McCaffrey, age 75, a resident of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022. Josie was born in Philadelphia and raised in Havertown, PA, and was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. Josie was an amazing, kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She touched so many lives with her warm heart and infectious laugh. Josie loved attending events for her grandkids so she could cheer them on. She loved her inside jokes with each one of them. Josie also loved her nieces' and nephews' children like her own. She loved having the chance to watch them grow by helping babysit some of them with her sister Reenie. Josie loved the beach, traveling and dinners out with her late husband and seeing the leaves changing in the fall. She was also a member of St. John Fisher Church. Josie was the daughter of the late Manus and Catherine O'Donnell, wife of the late Patrick Charles McCaffrey, Jr., sister of the late Kathy McGovern, and sister-in-law of the late William Starkey. Survivors: Children: Colleen McCaffrey, Diane McCaffrey McKenna, and Patrick C. McCaffrey (Janelle Kreider). Siblings: Maureen Starkey, Manus O'Donnell (Carol), Charlie O'Donnell (Joy). Grandchildren: Ryan and Caitlin McKenna, Patrick IV, Tristan, and Anna McCaffrey.
