Obituary

Joyce Obrien Weber died on Sunday May 26, 2019 after a brief hospitalization at Crozer-Chester Medical Center at the age of 64. Born on January 25, 1955, Joyce was raised in Glenolden, Pennsylvania and graduated from Interboro High School. She worked for many years in the auto and real estate title and deed business and was self-employed as an owner-operator of Obrien Abstractors for the last several years. At the time of her death, Joyce was living in Garnet Valley. Joyce loved and was loved by many friends and family members. She adored her many cats and dogs, all things "bling," old movies, shopping, and spending time with friends. She enjoyed spending time on the boat with Rob and their friends. She enjoyed baby and wedding showers and was the most thoughtful gift giver you could meet. Every gift was thoughtful and filled with love; she truly cared and felt honored by every invitation she received. Joyce's goal in life was always to make the people around her happy in any way she could. While she was a true homebody, she dreamt in recent years of visiting some select European cities. Fortunately, she was able to travel to Ireland and to England before her death.

Joyce was predeceased by her mother (Emma Zardus Walsh), father (Harry Joseph Walsh), and siblings, Judith Ellen Walsh,  Andrea Jean Walsh, and Cathleen Riley, and step-daughter Traci Weber. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert M. Weber, Jr., her sister, Sharon L. Walsh, her two stepdaughters, Sherri Reeves (husband Billy Reeves) and Valerie Weber     (Keith Walton), her beautiful grandchildren of whom she was so proud and gushed over constantly, Justin and Emma Reeves and Marcus and Ariana Walton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, including Keith Riley, Andrea Merchak, Christopher Merchak, Elise Merchak, and many nieces and nephews from her husband's family, too numerous to name.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Providence Animal Center at https://providenceac.org/ in memory of Joyce Obrien Weber.  There will be no visitation, but a memorial celebration for friends and family will be scheduled in the near future.
