Judy B. Kirby, age 74, passed away on March 28, 2025. Born and raised in Media, PA, Judy was a graduate of Penncrest High School, Class of 1969. Following her graduation, she returned to Penncrest as the Principal's Secretary. Later, she would begin her career as an EMT, a career that would span over 40 years and numerous departments. Judy dedicated her life to serving her community from a young age, even before becoming an EMT she was a volunteer at multiple Fire Departments within Delaware County. She proudly served as the first female President of the Delaware County Fireman's Association for the past 11 years. When Judy was not working, she enjoyed singing and playing the piano, she was an organist for Media Presbyterian Church. Judy also liked to spend time outdoors, sometimes Rockfish fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and recently, going camping with her family. She could often be found out to dinner with friends at any number of restaurants around Delaware County. Judy will be remembered as a great friend and loving Mom and Mommom. She is the daughter of the late John Arthur Lees and Shirley Baker, sister of the late Deborah Gaston, and wife of the late George Harvey Kirby. Survivors: Children: Tina Wills, Brian Young, John Young (Katherine), and James Young (Aundrea). Grandchildren: Jimmy Wills (Sam), Michael Wills (Mackenzie), Patrick Wills (Hannah), Destiny Young, Sam Woods, and Maxwell Young. Great Grandchildren: Kinsley and Hazel. Visitation: Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00am-1:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Saturday, April 12, 2025, 1:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Private.
