Kandis L. Hopkins, age 54, of Chichester, PA, passed away on September 1, 2026, after a hard battle with cancer. Throughout her journey, Kandi showed incredible strength, resilience, and a love for her family that never wavered.

Kandi was raised in Aston, PA, and was a proud graduate of Sun Valley High School. She was honored to be part of the Walmart team during the opening of the Boothwyn store, where she made lasting memories and friendships.

To know Kandi was to know a woman with a big heart and a love that ran deep. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and especially her 12 beloved grandchildren, who brought so much happiness and light into her life. She loved being a Mommom and created memories with them that they will carry in their hearts forever.

Kandi enjoyed the simple things that brought her comfort and joy, including spending time with her loved ones and watching her favorite show, The Big Bang Theory.

Kandi was the beloved daughter of the late William and Nancy Hastings and was preceded in death by her brother, William Hastings, Jr. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Michael James (Kellianne), Cory James (Melanie), Jessica Houser (Marky), Allison Hopkins (Darryl), and Brittany Hopkins; her brother, George Hastings; sister-in-law, Sharon Hastings; and her 12 grandchildren: Darryl Jr., Cameron, McKenzie, Alanna, Jeremy Jr., Ben, Anthony, Sophia, Marky Jr., Gianna, Caleb, and Vincent.

Kandi's love was a gift that touched so many lives. She had a way of making people feel loved, cared for, and accepted. The memories she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave will continue to live on through her family forever. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that her suffering has ended and that her love remains with us every day.

She will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
