Kathleen M. Bennett, 74, of Boothwyn, PA passed away with her family by her side on May 28, 2024. Born on September 18, 1949, to the late Frank and Eleanor (O'Donnell) Farrington. Raised in Drexel Hill, PA, she attended St. Charles Borromeo grade school and was a proud 1967 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth Bennett; daughters, Kristy Filler (Richard) and Kim Catania (Charles); granddaughters Molly and Katie, grandsons Jack, Joseph and Anthony; sister Joanne Kenworthy (Roy), brother Frank "Buck" Farrington, sister-in-law Linda Gloner (Larry), sister-in-law Jo-Ann Bennett and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kathy loved her cross-country road trips with Ken, vacations in Marco Island, and family beach trips to Ocean City, MD. She loved the simple things: shopping trips and car rides with her daughters, sitting on her deck and seeing her neighbors on a spring day. Her most cherished moments were the times she spent with her 5 adoring grandchildren. She loved being a mom but her favorite role in life was Nanny! Whether it was at a baseball or hockey game, gymnastics meet, or theater show, she was front and center as their biggest cheerleader. Kathy will be remembered as a strong warrior who never complained throughout her health struggles over the last 40 years. She had an amazing outlook on life and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her, but we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her family, friends, and dogs who welcomed her with open arms. While her wings were ready, our hearts were not. Funeral Mass: Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014. Burial: Monday, June 10,2024 at 10:40am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA 18940.
