Kathleen "Kay" W. Vershinski, age 84, passed away on October 16, 2017 at her home in Media after a brief battle with lung cancer. After 18 years as a stay-at-home mom, Kay worked at Sunoco (previously Atlantic Refining and Marketing) in Philadelphia in the Human Resources Department for approximately 15 years. In addition to loving her work, she enjoyed reading, crafts such as crocheting and counted cross stitch, and traveling the United States with her husband.
She celebrated 62 years of marriage with the late Eugene "Jim" A. Vershinski and was the daughter of the late William M. and Catherine E. Webbert.
SURVIVORS: her loving children: Kathy (Leo) Oberto, Lisa (Steven) Weidner, Jeanne (George Garcia) Vershinski, and James (Jennifer) Vershinski; her grandsons: Joshua and Jacob Vershinski, and Peter and Charles Weidner; her precious granddogs: Teddy, Mic, Cody, and Tyko; her brother: Fred (Dolores) Webbert; and niece: Robin (Duke) Pugh.
VISITATION: Friday, October 20, 2017 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday at 10:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.
