Kostas "Gus" Halkiadakis, age 56, passed away on January 13, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Kostas was born and raised in Vryses, Greece, and he emigrated to New Jersey as a teenager, where he resided in Toms River, NJ. Kostas resided in Aston for the last 9 years. Kostas was the former owner and operator of Dimples Diner in Whiting, NJ and most recently was employed by Coffee Associates.

He was the son of the late Kostas and Eleni (Manolakis) Halkiadakis, and father of the late Shane Gooding (2007).

Survivors: 2 Daughters: Eleni Adkins and her husband Chris, and Maria Halkiadakis and her partner Joshua Hoagland, 4 grandchildren: Alexandra, Luca, Eden and Jayden, and 13 siblings.

Visitation: Saturday from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service and burial will be at a future date in Vryses, Chania, Crete.
