Lesley F. Bistline, age 73, passed away on August 6, 2025, at Rockland Place in Wilmington, DE. Lesley was raised and educated in Lewistown, PA. Lesley would then move to Maryland to pursue a career in modeling. Life would soon take her to Philadelphia where she worked in retail and met her future husband, John. She also learned CPR while working at a retirement home for a brief period. Lesley and John made another move to Boothwyn, PA, where they would raise their son, Michael, and where Lesley would settle into a new role as a stay at home mom. Lesley enjoyed sewing, reading, shopping, and writing, even writing and publishing two of her own books about animal care. Over many years Lesley developed a fondness and skill for breeding, showing, and caring for Maine Coon cats. This love of Maine Coon's connected her with Debbie, someone that would become a lifelong friend of Lesley's. They spent time together traveling, sometimes overseas, and attending cat shows, among many other activities the two enjoyed. Over the past few years Lesley developed a fondness for playing bingo and singing with her friends at Rockland Place. She is the daughter of the late Lester and Evelyn Fowler, and wife of the late John Bistline (2017). Survivors: Her Son: Michael Bistline (Meghan), sister: Carol Morgan (Norman), her dear friend: Debbie McKniff, and her last surviving Maine Coon: Rivendell. Visitation: Saturday, August 16, 2025, 2:00pm-4:00pm, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Memorial Service: Saturday, August 16, 2025, 4:00pm. Burial: Private.
