IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa Anne
Long
December 19, 1965 – November 16, 2022
Lisa Anne Long, age 56, passed away peacefully at her home in Norristown after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lisa was raised in Chadds Ford and was a 1984 graduate of Unionville High School and earned her bachelor's degree in 1988 from Millersville University. Lisa was employed for many years at Nat-Com Inc. in Audubon, PA. After college Lisa and her husband Jeff started their journey in Norristown, spending a brief time in Telford before moving to Quakertown where they raised their family for 20 years. In 2016 they came full circle to Norristown where they remained until the time of Lisa's passing. Lisa had a love for horses and a passion for helping people with intellectual disabilities. She had a big heart and was a tireless and selfless volunteer for troubled youth. She served several years on the Quakertown youth aide panel and worked as an aide in the school district to help kids with reading. Lisa loved to go camping with Jeff in their RV as well as trips to see their daughters. Lisa was raised in an Italian family where she developed a love for good food, especially Italian. She loved to cook and bake for the holidays and enjoyed working in the yard where she kept the flower beds and landscaping impeccably manicured. Her favorite things were gatherings with her friends, the holidays with her family, and above all her life-long love of the beach. She was happiest with the sun on her face and her toes in the sand where the water meets the shore. Lisa was smart and passionate, always with strong convictions. She loved talking with interesting people with different perspectives, never met a stranger, and always glowed with hospitality. Her indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles. She will be deeply missed by all and never forgotten. Her strong faith in God always gave her the assurance that Heaven was her final home. Lisa was predeceased by her step-father Gerry Gaster, her maternal grandparents Pat and Teresa DiAntonio, and her Aunt Patricia Hemrick. SURVIVORS: Her loving husband of 31 years Jeffery Long, her cherished daughters Lauren Long Kelley (Josiah) and Morgan Long Underwood (James), her parents Joanne McCloud (Mike) and Al Lucia (Michele) Siblings: Candice Carter, Gary Gaster, Pam Lucia, and Tracy Galloway.
