Louis E. "Butch" Hibbs, age 65 , a longtime resident of Boothwyn, passed peacefully on June 15, 2015. Louis graduated from Penncrest High School in 1967 and proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy.

Louis retired from Conoco Phillips of Marcus Hook where he served as Fire Marshall and was also an instructor. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed traveling with his family.

Louis was the son of the late Louis P. and Margaret (Kelly) Hibbs and stepson of the late George Cooper.

SURVIVED by h is wife of 43 years: Sandra (Thompson) Hibbs; 4 children: Michelle Hibbs (Mark Lamplugh), Christina Durbano (Chris), Louis D. Hibbs, and Samantha Hibbs (Blake Bertrand); siblings: Patricia A. Smith, Lois Dixon, and Ann Collom; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Kyle, and Tyler Zgleszewski, Cydney and Courtney Durbano; and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA and Monday from 9:30-10:15am at Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 721 Paxon Hollow Road, Broomall,PA. Funeral Service: Monday at 10:30 am at Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. BURIAL: Glenwood Memorial Gardens , Broomall.
