Louise H. Mingis, age 73, died March 4, 2015 at Lankenau Medical Center. Louise was born and raised in Chester and graduated from Chester High School. She most recently resided in Garnet Valley.

Louise retired from Catholic Health East where she worked as a Career Paralegal. She had a passion for baking and fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning her own bakery. She was the former owner of the Sugar Bakers Bakery at Booths Corner Farmers Market. Louise loved going on cruises, to the beach, casinos and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Child Church in Delaware.

Louise was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Belay) Macielag, wife the late Jerome Mingis, Jr., and sister of the late Walter Macielag and Kathleen Weis.

SURVIVORS: her daughters: Lisa Mingis Ebling, Christine Mingis, Kelly Mingis, Jennifer Mingis and Amy Mingis Chambers (Bob); her sister: Barbara Suda; and grandchildren: Chelsea, Jonathan, Tyler Ebling, Abby and Bobbo Chambers, and Olivia Mingis.

VISITATION: Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA and Tuesday from 9:45 - 10:45am at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford.

Mass: Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. John Chrysostom Church.

BURIAL: Private
