Lynn Lorraine DiIorio, age 83, passed away on January 6, 2023, at her home in Wilmington, DE. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was raised in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY where she was a graduate of St. Agnes Catholic School. Lynn liked to stay active, she enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and always put their needs before her own. Lynn never missed a birthday card and loved singing Happy Birthday. She was a kind and generous woman who loved to joke and make others laugh, even if it was at her own expense. Lynn had a Phd in Love and shared her knowledge of the subject with everyone she knew, especially her husband, Anthony. She also kept a very close relationship with her four sons, who were all deeply devoted to her and will miss her greatly. Lynn was the daughter of the late William and Carolyn Gilbert, wife of her beloved husband of 43 years, the late Anthony F. DiIorio, and sister in law of the late George Moran. Survivors: Children: Anthony (Ann), Gary (Kim), Craig, and Scott (Heather) DiIorio. Grandchildren: Nicholas, Matthew, Jake, Vinny, Ryder, Dominic, and Logan. Sister: Carol Moran. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Thursday, January 12, 2023, 11:00am-12:30pm, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Thursday, January 12, 2023, 12:30pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Private.
