Mae DeGrave (Nee Close), age 83, died July 13, 2022 at CCMC. Born and educated in Philadelphia, Mae graduated from South "Southern" High School for Girls, Philadelphia. She lived in Lindenwald, NJ in her younger years, and Eddystone for many years,  before moving to Woodlyn, where she has lived for the past 18 years.  Mae worked for Crozer Chester Medical Center for over 25 years as a nurses aide. She enjoyed reading and routing for the Philadelphia Phillies. Her life was caring for her family.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all but never forgotten. Mae was predeceased by her parents Ira and Ethel Brogen Close, her siblings William and John Close, Margaret Profenna, Anna Davis, and her brother in law Tom Davis who was like a brother. She was also predeceased by her cherished grandson, Michael.

SURVIVORS: Her children Michelle Manapat (Todd), Judy DeGrave, and Robert DeGrave Jr.; Grandchildren: Jamie, Kacie, Corie, Lindsay, and Cody. Great Grandchildren Jorden, Cadence, Chase, Leanna, Joey, and Finnlee. She is also survived by 3 special nieces Margie, Linda, and Shari also with other nieces and nephews.

VISITATION : Tuesday July 19, 2022 from 10:30-12:00 pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA  19014

FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday July 19, 2022 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.

BURIAL: will be private.
