Mafalda D. "Micki" Stiscia (Nee Mancini), age 95, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 4, 2023, at Wesley Enhanced Living in Media. Born, raised, and educated in Chester, Micki graduated from Chester High School and was a longtime resident of Wallingford. She and her husband owned Stiscia's Beef and Beer where she enjoyed working in the kitchen during the day. Her passion for home design led her to J.C. Penney where she worked in the drapery department for over 30 years before retiring. She loved helping her customers with their custom drapery orders. In retirement, she enjoyed shopping, cooking, and baking with her family. As well as spending as much time as she could with her daughters, grandkids and great grandkids, and friends. Every summer, she looked forward to taking her family on vacations to Ocean City, NJ. Micki was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was also a long-time parishioner of St. John Chrysostom in Wallingford. She was the daughter of the late Luigi and Rose Mancini, sister of the late Dorothy Calderone, and mother of the late Mary Ann Stiscia and Judith Cline. SURVIVORS: Her beloved daughter, Ellen Rufus (Dan), 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sister, Dina Morrow and several nieces and nephews. VISITATION Thursday from 1:00pm-1:30pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston FUNERAL LITURGY Thursday at 1:30pm at the funeral home.
