Marcia E. Peskin Smith (nee Kortan), 56, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday December 29, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Delaware County and graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1980. She was most recently a resident of Glen Mills, PA. She retired from Garnet Valley School District in March of 2018 where she worked as a bus driver. Marcia loved going on long rides through the country with her best friend and husband, Tom. She also loved vacationing with her family and being a "Mimi" to her beloved granddaughter, Grace.

SURVIVORS: Her loving husband: Thomas Henry Smith, Jr.; parents: Daniel Joseph Kortan, Sr. and Mary Lou Kortan (nee Huffstickler); children: Cori Jill (Peskin) Gray (Stoddard Perry, III) and Danielle Jacqueline Peskin; step-children: Michelle Smith, Thomas Smith, Amanda MacFarland, and Matthew Smith; siblings: Daniel Joseph Kortan, Jr. (Susan), Charles Kortan (Margie), and Paul Kortan; grandchild: Grace Marie Gray; and former husband: Paul E. Peskin.

VISITATION: Friday, January 4, 2019, from 10:00-11:45 am, at the Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Avenue Aston, PA 19014.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, at 12:00 pm, at the Nolan Fidale Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
