Margaret “Peggy” Bucci (nee Cunningham), age 84, of Glen Mills, PA, cherished mother, nana, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 25, 2026, after a long battle with dementia.

Dementia took many things from Peggy, but her smile and sense of humor remained with her until the very end. The steadfast care and support of her family; husband Steve, son Michael and his wife Karissa (née Akins), daughter Anne Marie and her husband Bill (O’Rourke). Family, friends, neighbors and even the neighbors of her children were an incredible source of strength to her. Ayn, Peggy’s caregiver, was the greatest blessing not just to Peggy but her entire family. The bond between Peggy and Ayn was truly extraordinary.

Peggy was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Mark and Theresa (née Collins) Cunningham and the youngest of six, growing up in Merchantville, NJ. She moved to Glen Mills, PA in 1977 and quickly became an active member of the community. She spent many years volunteering at St. Thomas the Apostle Church and School and caring for the sisters at Camilla Hall, always keeping close to her faith.

Peggy loved summer—visiting Cape May, NJ, hosting family and friends by the pool, and of course, enjoying her many years as a nine-holer at Concord Country Club. Being a mother was her greatest love. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the sense that everyone who entered was truly special to her.

She was the cherished Nana of Liam, Kaylee, Stephen, and Pete, who were truly the light of her life. Her family was everything to her and she was everything to them.

Peggy is now reunited at last with her parents, Mark and Theresa (née Collins) Cunningham; her sister Theresa; her brothers, Mark (Buddy), Eddie, Johnny, and Tommy; her dear aunts, Sarah and Kate Collins; and her nephew, Walt Thompson, and niece, Theresa Marie McGorry. She will be remembered for her laughter, infectious smile, deep devotion to family, unwavering faith, and the love she shared so freely. Peggy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Visitation: 9:30 - 10:30am, Eulogy: 10:30am, Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00am
