IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret "Peggy"
C (Fanning) Brzezicki
April 7, 1941 – August 13, 2025
Margaret C. "Peggy" Brzezicki, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Peggy graduated from Ridley Township High School before building a beautiful life centered around family, community, and joy. She made her home in Glen Mills for 18 years, where she lovingly raised her children, and for the past 21 years resided in Garnet Valley. A natural people-person and a devoted hard worker, Peggy owned and operated the Wharf Tavern in Aston with her beloved husband, Francis "Chico" J. Brzezicki, Jr., for 20 years. She had a passion for living, full of laughter, warmth, and elegance. She loved to travel as much as possible, whether it was a weekend getaway or an exciting trip abroad. No matter where she went, her heart was always with her family, who were her number one priority in life. Peggy's sense of style was as vibrant as her personality, she was always dressed to the nines, and there was never a day you'd see her without her jewelry. A lifelong dancer, she even auditioned for the Rockettes, making the second team. She treasured trips to New York City for Broadway shows, shopping excursions. She enjoyed relaxing days at the shore, especially in Ocean City, NJ. Peggy delighted in teaching her granddaughter how to use makeup, sharing not just beauty tips but lessons in confidence and grace. She was a proud parishioner of St. Cornelius Church in Chadds Ford and a steadfast source of love and strength for all who knew her. Peggy is the daughter of the late James and Ellen Fanning, sister to the late James and Jack Fanning, and mother to the late Matt Brzezicki. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Francis "Chico" J. Brzezicki, Jr.; her loving children, Deborah Dickinson and Patrick Brzezicki; and her cherished grandchildren, Kylie and Zachary Brzezicki and Cooper Dickinson.
