Margaret A. Mitchell, 85, of Glen Mills passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at Maris Grove Senior Living. Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, she was a graduate of Aldan High School, Delaware County, PA.

Margaret was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and exceptional grandmother. Her life revolved around her family, and she possessed an unconditional love for those closest to her. She was an avid music fan and enjoyed classics by Frank Sinatra and the "Rat Pack". She raised her family in Chadds Ford, PA having lived there for 40 years, and enjoyed spending time at the Delaware and Maryland beaches where she and her husband retired in a home he designed and custom built. She was Catholic by faith and was a former parishioner of St. Cornelious Catholic Church. She was particularly proud of her Italian Heritage and the time she spent growing up in South Philadelphia, where she made lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Americo J. Ciarmellano and Margaret (Christy), her beloved husband Donald Mitchell of 47 years of marriage, and one sister: Pat Anziano. Survivors: Beloved daughters: Dawne Mitchell and Tracy Mitchell, one sibling: Nancy Anderson, and grandchildren: Karli Ferris and Devon Ferris.

Visitation: Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.

Funeral Liturgy: Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.

Interment: Will be private and at the convenience of the family.
