Margaret "Marge" Defosse, age 89, passed away on March 26, 2025. Marge was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Collingdale High School. She met the love of her life, Tom, while they were both in high school-she at Collingdale, and he at St. James. After graduation, the two were married and started their family. Together, Marge and Tom moved frequently due to Tom's career with DuPont. They lived in Syracuse, NY; Collingdale, PA; Gloucester County, NJ; Naperville, IL; Wilmington, DE; and eventually settled in Aston, PA, where they spent the past 20+ years. For the last two decades, Marge worked as a sales associate at Winterthur Museum in Delaware, where her warmth and graciousness left a lasting impression on visitors and colleagues alike. She had a passion for traveling and was fortunate to explore much of Europe. She and Tom also vacationed regularly in Cancun, enjoying over 30 years of sun-filled getaways together. She especially loved spending time at the Jersey Shore-Ocean City, NJ held a special place in her heart and was the source of many happy memories. Marge enjoyed golfing, reading, and most of all sharing stories, laughter and spending time with her beloved family. She is the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Ellen M. (Tucker) Harkins, wife of 53 years to the late Thomas "Tom" Defosse, Jr., mother to the late Linda Defosse, and sister to the late Pat, Jim, Chuck, Jack, and Frank. Survivors: Her loving children, Susan Amariti (Russ), Tom Defosse III (Patti), and Karen McCreavy (Kevin); her cherished grandchildren, Siobhan, Ellen, Dylan, Julia, Tommy, Isobel, Veronica, and Ceara; and her great-grandchildren, Keelan, Maeve, Tommy V, and Celeste.
