Margaret "Sue" Curren died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 4, 2023. Sue is predeceased by her husband James who passed away in 2011. Sue and Jim were longtime residents of Folcroft and moved to Florida after retirement. They enjoyed 16 years of relaxation while also donating their time to helping others through the Society of Saint Vincent DePaul Charity. Sue enjoyed time at the beach, Italian cooking, entertaining everyone, doing her word puzzles, the Phillies, especially #28 and any time spent with her numerous friends and family. Upon returning to Delaware County, Sue found her happy place at Creekside Village in Upper Chichester where she made many lasting friendships If you were fortunate to have met her, you know that you had a friend for life. She touched so many lives with her kindness and will be missed by all. While her family grieves her loss, they take comfort knowing that Jim and Sue are together again. She is the mother of Catherine, Bernadette, Beth Ann (Andrew), and James Jr (Maryellen). Cherished Grandmother to Christine, Timothy, Tricia, Casey, Lauren, Christa and Gregory. Great grandmother to 16 Great grandchildren. Sue is survived by a loving sister, Catherine, brother in law Francis (Alice), sister in law (Grace) and numerous nieces and nephews.
