Margaret "Rita" Murphy, 76, passed away on October 31, 2018 under the care of Crozer-Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital. Rita was born in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland, and most recently resided in Aston, PA. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Aston.
Rita was the daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget (nee Devaney) Chambers; wife of the late Francis Murphy; mother to the late Frank Murphy; sister to the late William Chambers and Ann Walsh; and mother to the late four legged child Riley.
SURVIVORS: Her loving children: Debbie Murphy, Dianne Blythe, Dan (Michelle) Murphy, Sue (Kris Henk) Murphy, and William P. (Susan) Murphy; grandchildren: Carly, Michael, Bobbie, Andrew, Brendan, Lori, Alyssa, and Matthew; and great grandchildren: Craig, Evan, Aidan, Ella, and Kevin.
VISITATION: Friday, November 9, 2018, from 9:00-10:15 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014.
FUNERAL MASS: Friday, November 9, 2018, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
