Marie A. Borreggine (Nee DiMeglio), age 92, died April 15, 2018, at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Born and raised in Chester Marie attended Chester High School. She lived in Chester until 1978 when she moved to Upper Chichester. She has lived in Delaware since 1990. Marie was a member of the Redwood Senior Center and the Upper Chichester Senior Center where she enjoyed dancing, bingo and traveling with the groups. Marie was a longtime member of St. John Fisher Church, Boothwyn. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Angela Rose Mattera DiMeglio, wife of the late Victor Borreggine (1992), sister of the late Joe, Freddie, Johnny, Harry, and Adeline, and mother-in-law of the late Dick Christy and John Morris.

SURVIVORS: Her children Nicholas Borreggine (Kathleen), Bernadette Morris, Averina Socash (Robert), and Roseann Christy Iacoangelo (Anthony), her brother Pat DiMeglio, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

VISITATION: Thursday from 9:15-10:15 am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn. FUNERAL MASS: Thursday at 10:30 am at the church. BURIAL: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
