Marie A. Hass (nee McGehrin), age 83, died August 12, 2016 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media.  She resided, at the time of her death, in the Wallingford Apartments and for a brief time was staying in the Brinton Manor Assisted Living.  Marie was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated high school from St. Monica Commercial. In her day, she loved fishing and, yes, motorcycle riding. She also loved camping, baking, and arts & crafts. Marie received many awards and held several positions as a member of the Eagles FOE Auxiliary. She also enjoyed spending time with the seniors at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Marie worked at the ShopRite in West Chester for many years. She also worked as a bookkeeper in auto/equipment repossession in Eugene, Oregon.

Marie was the loving wife of the late Robert L. Hass

She was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Florence (Jackson) McGehrin. She was also predeceased by her siblings Joseph McGehrin (Agnes), William McGehrin (Rosie), and Bernadette Feeley (the late Hughie).

SURVIVORS: Daughter: Rosemary M. Bauer (former husband Raymond Bauer); Son: Mark E. Hass; Brothers: Edward McGehrin (the late Fran), Tommy McGehrin (Betty), and George McGehrin (Maryann); Sister: Theresa Signell (Edward); Grandmother of Five: Dawn, Kimberly, Christina, Morgan, and Drake; Great Grandmother of Ten: Justin, Erin, Lauren, Samantha, PJ, Emma, Johnny, Dolan, Nolan, and Colton.

VISITATION: Saturday August 27, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd. BURIAL: Private in California.
