Marie G. Murphy, a resident of Chestnut Ridge, age 91, passed away on October 26, 2022. She was raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. Marie enjoyed shopping, trips to the casino, and going on cruises. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven, PA. She was the daughter of the late James and Olga Jardine, wife of the late James W. Murphy, mother-in-law of the late Candace Trakas, sister of the late James J. Jardine Jr. and John J Jardine, and grandmother of the late Edward Murphy. Survivors: Children: James J. Trakas, Michael E. Trakas (Kathy), and Edward S. Murphy (Colleen). Grandchildren: Karissa Jennings (Michael) and Damian Trakas. Great Grandchild: Michael Jennings, III.
