Marie Theresa Mearn (Messner), age 68, a resident of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Raised in East Lansdowne, PA, she attended St. Cyril of Alexandria Grade School and Archbishop Prendergast High School. Marie went on to graduate from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Radiology and later in life graduated from Widener University with an Associates Degree in Science. Marie worked in the Nuclear Radiology field at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital and West Chester Cardiology. In her free time, Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, and relaxing down the shore in Seaside Heights, NJ. She enjoyed many family parties with her in-laws from Boston, MA. She loved shopping and seeking out a good bargain. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, in Glen Mills, PA.

Marie was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Conan) Messner, and sister of the late Ruthanne Messner.  She was predeceased by her son, Kevin Michael.

Survivors: Husband: James Mearn. Children: Erin Velardi (David), and Patrick Mearn (Adrienne). Grandchildren: Elsie and Paige Mearn, and Josephine and James Velardi. Siblings: Albert Messner, Margaret King, Theresa Miscannon, John Messner, and Thomas Messner. Marie is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Friday from 9:00am-10:30am at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills. Funeral Mass: Friday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas The Apostle Church.  Burial: Ss.
