Martin J. "Marty" Kennedy, age 69, passed away peacefully on December 3,2023 surrounded by his family. Marty was a 1972 graduate of Chichester High School and was the quarterback of their football team. He has resided in West Chester, PA for  the last 17 years and enjoyed spending time at his beach home in Delaware. Marty retired from Marcus Hook Oil Refinery after 38 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, golfing, cooking and watching Hallmark movies. An avid Flyers and Phillies fan, Marty also rooted for the Vikings! Marty's favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren who he adored.

He was the son of the late Martin and Joan (nee Benjamin)(Fidale) Kennedy.

Marty is survived by his wife of 31 years: Diane (Spicer) Kennedy, his children: Jennifer Kennedy-Hines (John), Lori Brown (Nate), Martin W. Kennedy (Megan), and Benjamin Kennedy (Nastasha), his siblings: Patty Pierdomenico, William Kennedy, and Ruth Ann Baiocco, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

Marty's intimate family and friends are invited Thursday, December 7,2023 from 6- 7:30pm for his private visitation. The interment will be held at a later date.
