Mary Di Padova (nee Edward), 80, of Boothwyn passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School.
During her youth, Mary spent summers in Sea Isle with her parents, a tradition that she carried on later in life with her husband and children alike.
Mary married and spent most of her years in Folcroft with her family. Mary worked as an office manager for her long-time friend, Dr. John Pettieno, in South Philadelphia. She enjoyed visiting the casino to play the slots, crafting, watching QVC and spending time with her family.
Mary especially cherished traveling alongside her beloved husband Skip, with whom she created a lifetime of memories, companionship, and love.
Holidays were her favorite time of the year, when her home became a gathering place filled with warmth, food, and the joyful noise of her family and friends.
Above all, she will be remembered for her deep love of family.
Her legacy lives on in the lives she nurtured, the traditions she created and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Anthony and Mary (Cacchio) Edwardi, her beloved husband of 45 years: Alfonso "Skip" Di Padova, and additionally by her siblings: Frank, Sisina "Sue", and Theresa "Terry".
Survivors: her children: Alfonse, Michael (Nicole), Arthur (Donna), and Lisa Burt (William), grandchildren: Tara, Dana, Ashley (Brian), Anthony, Billy, Carissa, Adriana, and great-grandchildren: Julia and Benjamin, two siblings: Rita and Anthony, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania 19014.
