August 18, 1932 – November 20, 2019
Mary Ellen (Calnan) Imming, age 87, peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Regina Nursing Center. Mary was born in Seattle, WA and more recently a former resident of Glen Mills, PA. Mary was a compassionate woman who loved to help others.
She was committed to higher education which earned her multiple degrees: Delaware County Community College, Associate of Science (Business Administration) and Wilmington University, Bachelor of Science (Business Management) & Masters of Science (Administration Management). She was employed by West Park Hospital. She later went to the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. Through this training she practiced as a certified massage therapist and became a service provider of at home care for those in need.
Mary loved to garden, read, travel, enjoyed spending time with her immediate family and extended family members, which included attending several Calnan Family Reunions in Montana. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and her loving compassion to all that knew her, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary is predeceased by her father John Calnan, mother Grayce Calnan, and brother Gerald Calnan. Mary is survived by her children Michael (Teri) Imming, Mark (PJ) Imming, Michelle (Jerry) Weinhardt and Maureen DeStefano. Also survived by her grandchildren: Jessica DeStefano, Gerry (Tris) Weinhardt, Jennifer (Brian) Gallagher, Christina Weinhardt, Christopher (Rebecca) Imming, Brent Imming, Gregory (Christine) Imming, Brad (Leslie) Imming, William (April) Weeks, Kristen Weeks, Brittaney Weeks, Therese Weeks, Genna Weeks and Matthew Imming. Her great-grandchildren: Helena Imming, Olivia Imming and Arya Weeks.
VISITATION: Sunday November 24, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston and Monday morning from 9:30-10:15am at Nativity BVM Church 30 E. Franklin Street, Media, PA
FUNERAL MASS: Monday November 25, 2019 at 10:30am at Nativity BVM Church, Media.
BURIAL: Monday at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
