Mary A. Kozlowski, age 96, a longtime resident of Brookhaven, PA, passed away on October 11, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. Mary was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Girls High School. She spent time at various jobs, most notably Kelly's Candy, Phil and Jim's Hoagies, and Ambrosino's Catering.
Mary's greatest joy in life was her family, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining for them along with her friends. She particularly enjoyed hosting around the holiday season. Over the years their family trips included destinations like Garrison Lake, Rehoboth Beach, Hershey Park, and other amusement parks. Mary was a devout Catholic and member of our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven, PA.
Mary was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Pileggi, sister of the late Dominic Pileggi, Victoria Glessner, Francis Witmer, Ann Shinn, Ralph Pileggi, Jr., and Elizabeth Jane Snell. Mary was the wife of her beloved late husband, Edward Kozlowski (1969).
Survivors: Her Children: Edward Kozlowski (Jamar) and Mary Beth Powell (Scott), Grandchildren: Candice Marie Jewell (Justin), Daniel James Brechbiel (Julianne), Jessica Anne Powell, and Elizabeth Rose Powell. Great Grandchildren: Rachel Leigh, Benjamin David, and Sean Paul. Visitation: Monday, 9:30am - 10:15am on October 20, 2025, at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015. Funeral Mass: Monday, 10:30am on October 20, 2025, at Our Lady of Charity Church. Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial donations may be made in Mary's honor to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org .
