Mary Edith Larkin (nee Steelman), age 69, of Wilmington, passed away October 10, 2020.

Mary was raised in Eddystone, PA and worked with both the former Franklin Mint and the Chichester School District. She loved flowers, animals, rooting for the Pittsburg Steelers, and road trips; especially going to Wildwood with her daughter and grandson. She also enjoyed listening to music from Ricky Nelson to Janis Joplin, country music, and the girl groups of the 50's and 60's. Most of all, Mary greatly enjoyed just being together with her family, her two dogs Gizzy and Murphy, and especially with her grandson who was the light of her life. She had many friends and did many things for many people. She was a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Aston and she enjoyed attending church with her daughter, Elaine. Mary had a loving heart and those that knew her know that the sun will never shine so bright again without her here. Her kind heart will always be remembered and loved. Love Always Remains.

She was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Edith (Simcox) Steelman, former wife of the late Joseph Parker; mother of the late Kenneth and Joseph Parker, mother-in-law of the late Steve Bernard; sister of the late Cathy, John, and Dorothy, and grandmother of the late Dylan Joseph Bernard.

SURVIVORS: Her husband: William Larkin; Daughters: Elaine Bernard and Deborah Glover (Richard); Siblings: Edward, Carol, Linda, and Beatrice; Grandson: Brandon Robert Bernard; and many nieces and nephews.
