IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary K.
(Mallon) Walsh
July 9, 1965 – September 27, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Mary K. Walsh (née Mallon), who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 60, surrounded by her loving family in their Glen Mills home. Born in Ridley Park, Mary was a bright spirit whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. A graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1983, Mary went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Widener University in 1988. Her compassionate nature shone throughout her career as a registered nurse at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and, more recently, at Brinton Lake Surgery Center in Glen Mills, where she provided care and comfort to countless patients.
Mary was a lover of life, finding joy in cooking and savoring new culinary experiences. She cherished her time at the family beach home in Ocean City, New Jersey with her beloved husband, Rich along with family and friends. Together, they shared a passion for golf, pairing well with their love for the outdoors.
As the gracious hostess of family gatherings, especially during the holiday season, Mary reveled in creating memorable celebrations filled with warmth and laughter. Most precious to her was the time spent with her cherished grandson, Declan, whose laughter and joy filled her heart.
Mary leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Rich Walsh; her son, Ricky Walsh (Jacqueline); Her mother Rosemary Canavan, her beloved siblings, Michele Mallon(Christine Hayes), Maureen Mallon (Robert Wigo), and Joseph Mallon; and her adored grandson, Declan. Mary's father Joseph Mallon predeceased her. Mary will be deeply missed by all, but her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Mary's warmth, light, and love will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and her devout faith will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration for us all.
