Mary Ellen Minner (nee Burns, age 92, a 30 year resident of Lutheran Knolls in Boothwyn, passed away on April 9, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was an avid card, bingo and casino player. For the last 8 months, she was living at Barclay Nursing Home, formerly Manor Care, in Cherry Hill, NJ, where she received excellent care from the nursing staff as well as Heartland Hospice staff. The family will be forever grateful to all of them. Mary will truly be missed by all of her friends and family.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Margaret (Nusbaum) Burns, wife of the late Robert B. Minner, mother of the late Robert J. Minner and sister to 6 late brothers and 1late sister.

SURVIVORS: her daughter: Jean Piccillo (Joe) of Oaklyn, NJ; her sister: Margaret Parent, Claymont, DE; her sister-in-law: Margaret Turner (Howard), Wilmington, DE; 4 grandchildren: Dawn, Patricia, Jeanne and Mary; 6 great grandchildren, several loving nieces and nephews.
