Mary Catherine Ounan, age 69, died July 27, 2015. Mary was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic Girls School in 1964. Most recently she resided in Glen Mills.

Mary retired in 1998 after 34 years with the PA State Police Troop K in Philadelphia where she worked as the Administrative Manager. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle in Glen Mills where she also sang in the choir and participated in the architectural committee. Mary served as treasurer of the Chester Heights Historical Society and was a council woman of Chester Heights Borough.

Mary was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Rodden) Ounan, sister of the late Francis and John Ounan and sister in law of the late Lucile Ounan.

SURVIVORS: nephews: Mark and Kevin Ounan; and grand-nieces: Elizabeth and Angela Ounan.

VISITATION: 9:30am-10:15am at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills. Funeral Mass: Friday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas The Apostle Church.

BURIAL: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
