Mary Ellen Remaize , age 68, passed away on March 17, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Mary Ellen was raised in Secane, PA, and a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She was a resident of Aston, PA for 30 years before retiring to Maris Grove in Glen Mills, PA. Mary Ellen was employed by Clover in Media, PA., after that worked at Plumbmaster in Concordville, PA in the accounting department. The beach was one of her favorite places to spend time, especially Sea Isle City, NJ. The Philadelphia Flyers was her favorite sports team. She also enjoyed watching golf on television. Her hobbies included painting ceramics, coloring, playing cards, listening to music, doing jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and hosting parties for friends and family. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy! Mary Ellen had a strong faith and was a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Aston, PA.

She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Sheppard) Savage, and the wife of the late Thomas E. Remaize, Sr.

SURVIVORS: Children: Michele Hayes (Bill), and Thomas Jr. (Sheryl). Siblings: Ruth, Linda, Barbara, and Paul. Grandchildren: Mary, Allison, Melanie, Emma, and Juliana.

Visitation: Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA and Friday from 9:30-10:15 am at St. Joseph's Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass: Friday at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Church. Burial:  Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
